River of Life Centre Trust was set up in 2007 and has been running events, courses, programmes and activities in the wider Counties/Manukau area since.

The aims of the Trust include:

• To provide families with programmes and initiatives that can provide a range of recreational, educational and social opportunities for families which are well organised, enriching, safe and enjoyable.
• To provide programmes and initiatives that is aimed at families to instigate positive changes in families, to strengthen positive relationships in families and to enable the realization of healthy lifestyles.
• To promote inclusion and development of various cultural and ethnic families within the Counties Manukau area.
